Acquisitions
Struthers Energy and Power Limited acquired the trade and assets of Heat Recovery Solutions Ltd (which traded as Heat Recovery Solutions, HRS and HRS Energy) after Heat Recovery Solutions Ltd was placed into Administration on 31st January 2020. The assets acquired included the contracts, all of the intellectual property of Heat Recovery Solutions Limited including the product range, the patents, copyrights, trademarks, the websites including www.hrs.energy, the domains and trading names used by Heat Recovery Solutions Ltd (i.e Heat Recovery Solutions, HRS and HRS Energy) and all the equipment, databases and software. This means that we now have all the former HRS historical contracts, designs and design software. No other entity or individual has any rights to the trade and assets of the company that was Heat Recovery Solutions Limited.
(Furthermore the employees of Heat Recovery Solutions Ltd at the time of the Administration transferred under TUPE to the new company and are now employees of Struthers Energy and Power Limited).
Struthers Energy and Power Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CF Struthers Limited. Right from the beginning of HRS in 2010, all of the products of HRS were in fact manufactured by CF Struthers and developed by HRS in conjunction with CF Struthers. Now both the design and project management business (Struthers Energy and Power Limited) and the manufacturing business (CF Struthers Limited) are all located together on a single site at Millennium Works in Hull. All the HRS contracts completed this year by Struthers have shown just what a great service the two businesses can now provide customers – great communication, competitive pricing, excellent project management and on time delivery of high quality products for both new and existing clients.
